When deciding where to spend their honeymoon, Tony and Isabel only had three requirements: sun, sand, and sea. To their surprise however, they were blown away when they received so much more while honeymooning at Sandals Royal Bahamian.

According to Tony, they were looking for a honeymoon destination that rivaled their Los Angeles sunset wedding set in the hills of California, and overlooking a magnificent golf course. They decided that Nassau in the Bahamas was one of the few places that could compete with their wedding location. “This was our first time out of the country (US) together,” said Isabel. “So we definitely made the most of our first international trip together.”

Tony, a coreman in the US Navy, has traveled all around the world and said he has not experienced anything like the hospitality and service of Sandals Royal Bahamian.

“We had two butlers, an amazing ocean view room, the whole works,” Tony said. “I wanted to show my wife the time of her life.”

“The service we received was impeccable,” said Isabel. “We were both blown away by the special things our butlers and room attendants did for us. One evening, on our last night at the resort, my husband and I had dinner on the beach, which was AMAZING! After a nice and romantic walk on the beach after dinner, we headed back to our suite and were extremely surprised by what our butlers had done for us on our last night: the French doors to the room were closed, so my husband opened them and found a red carpet laid out with white rose petals everywhere, candles were lit, and the bed was prepared for us. Laid out on the bed was one of my lingerie pieces, which was nicely placed on my side of the bed. We thoroughly appreciated the attention to detail and all the other ‘naughty’ surprises presented! I won’t give too much away but the surprises involved towels, a flogger, fruit and chocolate. There is no doubt in my mind that we will one day return to this jewel of a resort that is perfect for newlyweds.”
