Best Appleton Rum Recipes for the Holidays

Now that Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum is back at Sandals Resorts, we thought it best to treat you to some Sandals style drink recipes just in time for the holidays.

‘Tis the season to make use of your Appleton rum you purchased at Sandals Resorts and brought back home with you. So, enjoy these Sandals-inspired drink recipes on us:

Moshi Mojito

Glass: Libbey, 12 oz., Super

Featured at: Soy Sushi Bar

Ingredients:

2.0 oz.            Light Appleton Rum

1.0 oz.             Sake

0.5 oz.            Simple Syrup

0.5 oz.            Lime Juice

2.0 oz.            Soda

2 ea.               Mint Leaves

Directions: In the cocktail glass add simple syrup and mint, muddle slightly. Add ice, light rum, lime juice, and fill with soda. Garnish with mint leaves.

Caribbean Muse

Glass: Martini

Ingredients:

1.5 oz.            Appleton Genesis

1.0 oz.            Vodka

1.5 oz.            Cantaloupe Juice

0.5 oz.            Lime Juice

0.5 oz.            Crème de Banana

0.5 oz.            Simple Syrup

Directions: In a mixing tin with ice, add all ingredients except the

Crème de Banana and shake until chilled. Pour into a brown sugar-rimmed martini glass and add the splash of Crème de Banana.

Cucumber Cooler

Glass: Highball

Ingredients:

2.0 oz.            Light Appleton Rum

1.0 oz.            Gold Appleton Rum

1.5 oz.            Cucumber Juice

0.5 oz.            Lime Juice

0.5 oz.            Sprite

1 ea.                Cucumber Ribbon (garnish)

Directions: In a mixing tin add all ingredients and shake until combined. Pour into a highball glass over ice and garnish with cucumber ribbon.
